Mohit Jangra (b.1999) is a young Indian artist.

Born and brought up in the historical city of Panipat, Haryana (India). Despite having no artistic background in the family, he started painting from an early age. He had his first solo exhibition in his City at the age of 16 sponsored by the state government. The exhibition was well received by the public and seven artworks were sold and his journey as an artist started from there. After completing his education in Fine arts, he developed his own style by infusing abstraction and realism together. He mainly do portraits and figurative works. He recently completed a notable commission for the Ambani family. He has been a part of several National academy exhibitions and prestigious art camps in India like recent G20 summit. His work is widely collected in India and abroad as well.

In his artwork, the influence of Indian classical dance is more than just a theme; it's a profound reflection of life's transient nature and the eternal essence of spirituality. Through his paintings, he masterfully captures the graceful movements and storytelling traditions of classical dance. In some of his pieces, he skillfully incorporates abstractive flowing drips beneath the dancing figure, symbolizing the impermanence of outer beauty. Yet, amidst this fleeting beauty, the hand gestures of the dancer depict the eternal essence of spirituality. These gestures convey a sense of timeless grace and inner beauty that transcends the physical realm.

But there's more to his art than meets the eye. His paintings hold deeper significance, portraying the journey of the devotee towards the absolute. As one becomes immersed in the devotion of an art form, materialistic desires begin to fade (jewellery clothes are dripping in the bottom), paving the way for a deeper connection to the metaphysical. His artwork becomes a portal to this spiritual realm, where the boundaries between the physical and metaphysical dissolve into pure expression.
